This privacy policy (“Policy”) sets out how we, Joya Communications Inc. (“Joya” or “we”), developers of the TTMI mobile application (the “App”), use and protect the personal information of people who use the App or access or use the website www.talktomeif.com (the “Website”). We will refer to the App and the Website collectively as “TTMI.”

This Policy applies to anyone who accesses TTMI. By using TTMI, you acknowledge that the collection, use, and sharing of your information will take place as described in this Policy. To provide TTMI, we collect your “Personal Information,” which is information that directly or indirectly relates to you. We store the Personal Information that we need to operate TTMI so you can connect with others.

Privacy Principles

We have two fundamental principles when it comes to Personal Information:

1. We don’t sell your Personal Information.
2. We don’t use your Personal Information to show you third-party ads.

We value your privacy, and the vision of TTMI is to help you connect with people at your college. We do not monetize the collection of data and do not use your Personal Information for third party marketing or advertising.

We collect information about you as described below. We use this information to provide and enhance your experience with TTMI.

Information You Provide

By using and interacting with TTMI, you may provide us with information about yourself, including Personal Information, as described below:

• Should you choose to register (create an “Account”), you will provide us with your first and last name, .edu email, college year, and profile picture, and may provide your area of study, bio, gender, pronouns, relationship status, sexuality, and information about your classes and interests, including TTMI prompts.
• If you want to join a waitlist for TTMI or a TTMI-related promotion, event, or activity, we may also request and you may choose to provide your phone number.
• We may also collect and store the content you create and share on TTMI, including messages if you choose to communicate with your classmates.
• If you contact Joya for customer service or support, we will collect any Personal Information you may share with us to be used only for the purposes of researching and resolving the issue and communicating with you about your request.

Information We Collect Automatically

We use third-party analytics Service Providers (as more fully described below) to automatically log information about you and your computer or mobile device, and how you interact with TTMI. For example, when you access the App, we may log your operating system type, the screens you viewed, how long you spent on a screen, access times, Internet protocol (IP) address, your mobile device ID, mobile device serial number, unique user ID, wireless carrier, and information about your use of and actions on the App; when you access the Website, we may log your operating system type, browser type and language, the pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times, Internet protocol (IP) address, and information about your use of and actions on the Website. We collect this additional technical data to analyze usage trends and to have more information about how people use TTMI to personalize and better the user experience.

2. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the information that we have about you to operate, provide, support, personalize, and make TTMI more relevant and useful to you and others.  We don’t use your Personal Information for ad targeting by third parties.
